About

A Safe Space to Heal, Grow, and Reconnect.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected from your relationships, your purpose, or even yourself? You're not alone. Many people seek therapy when life becomes too difficult to navigate alone, and taking that first step can be the start of real, lasting change. I work with individuals, couples, and families who are facing a wide range of challenges, including: • Relationship and family conflict • Recovery from trauma (including domestic violence, sexual and physical abuse) • Intergenerational and cultural trauma • Acculturation and identity-related stress • Anxiety, depression, and mood challenges • Grief and loss • Life transitions and goal-setting • Low self-esteem and self-worth issues You may have tried to cope on your own, only to find that your symptoms are worsening and your relationships are suffering. You might feel like you're carrying the weight of the past, unsure how to move forward. That’s where I come in. With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, I bring a compassionate, culturally competent, and trauma-informed perspective to therapy. I believe that your story, identity, and lived experiences matter and I tailor my approach to meet your unique needs. Whether you’re exploring the impact of intergenerational trauma, adjusting to a new culture, or simply trying to feel more at home in your own skin, I’m here to support you. I use a flexible, client-centered approach that draws from evidence-based practices, always guided by what works best for you. At the heart of my work is the belief that a strong, trusting relationship between therapist and client is essential for growth and healing. Therapy can be a powerful space for reflection, healing, and transformation. My goal is to help you build the tools and insight you need to live a more fulfilling, balanced, and empowered life. As an immigrant from Central America, I am all too familiar with the cultural and sociological challenges that can consume our daily lives. I am familiar with the stigma attached to therapy and the perception of weakness that can be associated with seeking treatment. In reality, true strength comes from the ability to recognize and acknowledge you have a problem and the courage to do something about it. I believe you possess the necessary strength to begin the healing process. My clients describe me as authentic, direct, empowering, and open-minded. I am someone with a sense of humor, that will call you out and give you direction when needed. I welcome those that are seeking therapy for the first time and/or have had negative experiences with therapy. Contact me for a free consultation to see if I am a good fit.
